* Songwriters' Contest - Results 2017

Another fantastic night..

Jen Land normally plays with the Duo Slim Dime, but this month stepped up on her own to play her own song, "Tea For Two" and took out our Annual Songwriter's Contest.  Jen went away with a Guitars and Things gift voucher for $400!!  Well done Jen!

Yours Truly, Peter Stanley, took out Second Prize for the song "Damaged Goods" and will be taking advantage of Studio Recording time for the prize.

Last year's winner, Sallt Carter came a close third with her song "A Dead Man's Heart" and will be receiving a Gift Pack from Maton.

James Henry took home a $30 Gift Voucher from Nepean Music as 4th Prize for "I Am With You".

The Audience Award was taken out (in a nail-biter) by Lee Howlett for her song "Mother Nature's Cruel Way", and was delighted to receive a Shure SM58 Microphone that was kindly donated by Bill Dettmer!
